Cowboys and Cactuses

Arizona, cactuses, cowboys, centennial, resources, Globicate, Heidi Befort
As most of the classrooms in America are celebrating cupid and his hearts, the folks out west celebrate another special day on February 14...the admission of the State of Arizona into the United States of America.  It makes it very easy for Arizona teachers to remember this day with the influx of candies and cards.  Arizona is a special state with special characters hanging around us on a daily basis.  So, if you're looking for a way to help your students know the facts about Arizona, check out my Arizona Centennial Unit which is free partner!  It's full of writing prompts, facts, and a fun game to reinforce vocabulary.  So, round up your horse Cowboy, saunter over to TeachersPayTeachers or my resource page, and lasso yourself some freebies!

Check out this fun book to use with my Arizona unit. You'll learn all about Arizona from A to Z!
